Description:

  • Ensure implementation and completion of automation testing activities in the SIT environment where test results and artifacts are generated. Creation and maintenance of automation suite with knowledge of automation approach and strategies.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Comply with the ITG Quality Framework established by TSG and ensure Test Process are followed according to the SDLC and TSG Test Process
  • Plan, Control and implement automation testing processes in accordance to schedule, budget and overall test efforts
  • Define and monitor execution of test tasks and activities
  • Set automation metrics and ensure that team meets the set metric
  • Analyze non-functional requirements raises questions to ensure good understanding of the non-functional requirements being developed
  • Design, develop, test and maintain the automated test scripts
  • Create and maintain test data for the automation scripts
  • Execute scripts for Automation Regression or other Functional/Non-Functional Automated test scripts
  • Create or provide input to Test Lead in the Test Planning, scheduling of Tes Activities, Test estimation and identify potential Risks and Issues
  • Raise defects with sufficient details to aid in the investigation of the issue by providing well documented Proof of Testing and defect information
  • Conducts retest for defect fixes
  • Create Test Reports (daily/weekly) to provide progress and status of their assigned tasks
  • Collaborate closely with other team members and departments (developers, delivery/project managers, business users etc.)
